The key design feature is the two lug single piece cast body
which ensures optimum functional

capabilities
with lower body weight and cost. The design offers a choice
of either cast or plate superstructure (yoke) which also permits
interchangeability between manual and pneumatic actuators.

cast
body
is more rugged and offers better leak tihgtness than a fabriicated
or cast two-piece body; it also is superior to cast valves
with stainless steel lining which are more susceptible to
corrosive and erosive wear.
