RAM Universal boast a fully equipped machine shop along with a state of the art test and build department allowing complete control over all our engineering requirements.
These assets along with a great depth of knowledge of valve design and pneumatic function, gives us a great head start over the competition. With these facilities at our disposal, we consider ourselves one of the few independent valve suppliers that can carry out all manner of bespoke alterations within our own environment, to meet customer demands.
Special Modifications
At Ram Universal Limited we have been eager to set ourselves up to deal with the bespoke requirements and special modifications our customers demand. The sheer diversity of industrial requirements has led RAM into a related, but totally seperate industry to that of simple valve supply.
Now we can offer bespoke solutions to highly specific process problem applications. This ability to adapt to the changing face of valve supply has led to some very innovative ideas that RAM have patented for themselves. Each time the result is a stand alone product, now in full production.
Design/Engineering Facilities
Because we have designed and manufactured our own valve we are perfectly suited to modify existing valves to include extra porting, C.I.P purge, modifications to interior trim and exterior ports, this also includes fugitive emissions, locking facilities and mounting bracketry.
We also carry out the manufacturer of specialised manifolds and valve sets to customer requirements. RAM Universal also have a fully equipped welding and polishing department that lends even greater scope to our engineering department.
Actuated Services
Building and testing all of our own valve packages is second nature to us and we can offer this facility to other companies should the need arise. We have a fully functioning test bed where all manner of valves can be hooked up to undergo pressure and cycling tests under controlled conditions. Witness inspection is also available on request.
